FerroLinkrs – Furniture Collection-1
As part of my graduation project, I collaborated with FerroLinkrs to design three living room furniture collections for upcoming trade fairs. The designs had to reflect the company’s strengths in handcrafted metal furniture, aligning with their clean, minimal, and modern aesthetic.
Clients:
FerroLinkers
Industry:
Furniture / Home Décor / Export
Role:
Furniture Designer
✦
Challenge:
The collections needed to balance creative inspiration with production feasibility. Products had to be minimal, cost-effective, and manufacturable using FerroLinkrs’ in-house facilities (welding, cutting, grinding, electroplating, powder coating, and finishing).
✦
Goal:
To create original, production-ready collections that could stand out in global trade fairs while meeting FerroLinkrs’ design and manufacturing requirements.
✦
Solution:
Collection 1 – Human Postures
Inspired by stick-figure gestures and human poses, this collection translated movement into minimal furniture forms. It included a side table, coffee table, and floor table, constructed from metal pipes, rods, sheets, and glass with a matte powder-coated finish.
Through these explorations, I created collections that were concept-driven yet manufacturable, offering FerroLinkrs unique designs ready for international trade showcases.
